Responsibilities
- Design integrated sustainable infrastructure systems combining renewable energy, smart grids, and circular economy models
- Develop AI-powered predictive maintenance frameworks for critical urban utilities
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and urban planners
- Create digital twin simulations for climate-resilient urban environments
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring environmental impact and ROI
- Secure LEED/Well certifications for landmark sustainability projects
- Present innovations to municipal governments and Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or Urban Planning (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in smart city development or sustainable infrastructure
- Expertise in BIM/CAD software and IoT sensor integration
- Strong background in carbon footprint analysis and lifecycle assessment
- Proficiency in Python/R for environmental data modeling
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification required
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ large-scale sustainability projects
- Experience securing municipal green infrastructure grants
