Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist Customers: Provide exceptional service to all visitors and customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and credit payments, and maintain accurate registers.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive team dynamic.
- Handle Cash Handling: Perform accurate cash drops, reconcile daily sales, and follow all company financial protocols.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- Upselling Opportunities: Proactively identify and communicate relevant product or service add-ons to increase sales revenue.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliability: Must possess a reliable method of transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
