Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain organized warehouse records.
- Packaging & Labeling: Prepare, pack, and label products for shipment, ensuring all regulatory compliance standards are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and verify orders with high accuracy to minimize returns and errors.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to resolve logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; proficiency with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
