Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of orders. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse setting, ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe workspace for all team members.
Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately process customer orders and prepare them for shipment according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and update inventory systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to resolve logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a history of consistent attendance.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus but we provide training.
