Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Organize stock, maintain inventory accuracy using handheld scanners, and perform cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers while adhering to all safety certifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage, report discrepancies to supervisors, and ensure order accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and strictly follow OSHA safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with barcode scanners or handheld devices.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- License: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not mandatory.
