Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Cargo: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials in and out of the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate counts and document stock levels using handheld scanners.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Data Entry: Update inventory systems and process shipping paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to meet daily quotas.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and possess a reliable form of transportation.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
