Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure efficient stock rotation and accuracy.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
