Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates on proper safety protocols and workflow procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Conduct daily safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Resolve operational issues in real-time and escalate complex problems to management.
- Manage shift schedules, breaks, and attendance records to maintain optimal staffing levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment operation skills.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
