Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, servers, and workstations for commercial clients.
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide exceptional onsite technical support and customer service to end-users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs, repair reports, and inventory records.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify systemic issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during field operations.
- Travel to client sites within the San Francisco area as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service, IT support, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
