Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the daily workflow of the warehouse to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient use of space.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate effectively with vendors and logistics partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational metrics and team performance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- Reliability: Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
