Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and accurately document stock counts using handheld scanners.
- Packing & Shipping: Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring all labels and barcodes are correct to prevent shipping errors.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Customer Service: Assist with customer inquiries regarding order status and shipping details when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED certification required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Equipment Operation: Basic experience with warehouse machinery (forklift, pallet jack) is a plus but training is provided.
