Responsibilities
- Analyze technological convergence patterns across quantum computing, biotech, and AI to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year future-state projections
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation velocity and future-readiness
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Future Lab
- Author thought leadership publications on societal impact of technological evolution
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning within tech or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and technology impact assessment
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFMP) preferred
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling capabilities with visualization tools
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks across global enterprises
- Portfolio demonstrating future-state scenario development
