Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce high-impact innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and global innovation hubs
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and board members to drive billion-dollar strategic decisions
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with demonstrated impact on multi-year roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning frameworks, and trend analysis tools
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech ecosystems
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field required
