Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for next-generation product innovation aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and emerging technology startups
- Present innovation frameworks and future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for strategic decision-making
- Monitor global innovation trends and competitor disruption patterns to maintain competitive advantage
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and innovation management best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services with significant market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and exponential trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M and leading cross-functional teams of 10+
