- Architect and execute innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budget oversight
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property portfolios
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with corporate vision and growth targets
- Establish metrics for innovation ROI and track KPIs across 50+ projects
- Mentor a team of 15+ innovation specialists and researchers
- Present strategic insights to board members and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech trends and future forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Experience managing global innovation teams and cross-cultural partnerships
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility for innovation portfolios
- Presentation skills demonstrated at TEDx or equivalent industry forums
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) or equivalent
