Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio success and ROI tracking
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or sustainable infrastructure
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and board-level decisions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic modeling software
