Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, bio-digital interfaces)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and research consortia
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal 'future labs' program
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (patents required)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
