Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during the night shift.
- Monitor server performance and ensure 24/7 system availability and security.
- Respond to critical help desk tickets and resolve escalations with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and backups outside of peak business hours.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to document issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Conduct nightly security audits to protect sensitive company data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with global teams.
