Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify breakthrough opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with company vision and market demands
- Lead cross-functional teams (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) in prototyping and validating futuristic concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present compelling future-vision narratives to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive scenario planning for disruptive technologies and their industry impacts
- Manage R&D budget allocation for high-growth future technology verticals
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (e.g., AI ethics frameworks, quantum computing applications)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in trend forecasting and scenario modeling
- Strong leadership experience managing diverse technical teams
