Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) and develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market dominance
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $500K+ annual innovation budgets
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into product roadmaps and business transformation plans
- Present strategic forecasts to Fortune 500 clients and industry conferences on emerging tech adoption
- Build and manage an external network of academic institutions, VCs, and tech incubators
- Drive innovation initiatives targeting $50M+ market opportunities in adjacent sectors
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify disruptive threats/opportunities in real-time
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or venture capital with future-tech focus
- Proven track record of launching $100M+ initiatives from concept to market
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience presenting to executive boards and Fortune 500 leadership
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future) or equivalent
- Portfolio of published tech trend analyses or white papers
