Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) into product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic technology insights to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and technology pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on innovation strategies
- Drive R&D budget allocation for breakthrough technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies to commercial success
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, nanotechnology, space tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-continental teams
