Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for clients using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce executive-grade reports synthesizing AI, biotech, and climate adaptation impacts
- Adv Fortune 500 clients on innovation portfolio allocation and R&D prioritization
- Build proprietary forecasting models using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Mentor junior strategists while maintaining thought leadership in future studies
- Coordinate with R&D teams to validate foresight findings through prototype development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic consulting or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 clients
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or climate resilience strategies
- Advanced proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using Tableau or Power BI
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic implementations with measurable ROI
- Strong network of futurists and innovation practitioners across tech and policy sectors
