Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with commercial potential
- Translate complex future scenarios into executable product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and risk mitigation
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content including white papers and executive briefings
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track organizational adaptation progress
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-vision concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (portfolio required)
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ years of scenario planning for 5+ year horizons
