Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, quantum, bio-convergence) to identify 2026 disruption vectors
- Develop and operationalize strategic innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Champion design-thinking workshops with C-suite and engineering leads
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems for emerging threats/opportunities
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with future-tech pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to board members and investors quarterly
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proof technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or equivalent R&D leadership
- Proven track record mapping technology adoption curves beyond 2025
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend-impact methodologies
- Published work on emerging tech (AI ethics, quantum applications, etc.)
- Experience securing >$3M in innovation funding
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented strategic innovation initiatives
