Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Produce high-impact scenario plans and risk assessments for emerging tech adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive innovation trajectories
- Advise executive leadership on long-term R&D investment priorities
- Monitor global geopolitical, technological, and market signals for early detection of paradigm shifts
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Published work on future trends or disruptive innovation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from futurists.org)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex systems thinking and long-term vision
