Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy using predictive modeling and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track adoption of emerging technologies
- Partner with R&D to incubate 3-5 moonshot projects annually
- Author thought leadership publications on industry evolution and disruption
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services with $50M+ impact
- Expertise in AI/ML, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Published author or keynote speaker on technology trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with specialization
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Futurist Platform, Palisade @Risk)
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ in high-growth environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., ACIF) preferred
