Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruptions to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state vision and execution priorities
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content (whitepapers, executive briefs) positioning Horizon Dynamics as a futurist authority
- Partner with R&D to validate future-focused innovation pipelines and investment opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical, socioeconomic, and environmental shifts to identify systemic risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for trend intelligence
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their disruptive potential across industries
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, MBA, or equivalent analytical discipline
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or innovation management preferred
- Experience developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for multinational organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused analyses or thought leadership
