Responsibilities
- Execute skilled trade tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry installations
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and building specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on residential/commercial properties
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and local building codes
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Train apprentices and junior technicians on best practices
- Complete detailed service reports and client communication logs
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation for emergency services
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in at least one skilled trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry)
- Valid state contractor license or Journeyman certification
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and trade-specific software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel between Virginia Beach and Florida sites
