Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical guidance to resolve escalated tickets.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Manage and update the IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Collaborate with the senior engineering team to implement IT best practices and security protocols.
- Conduct regular system checks and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Train staff on new software applications and company IT policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
