As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our internal employees, providing technical assistance and ensuring our systems run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Conduct regular system checks and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.
