Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments from trucks.
- Inventory Control: Accurately scan, track, and manage inventory using handheld scanners and WMS systems.
- Pick and Pack: Fulfill customer orders by picking items and preparing them for shipment with high accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM), Monday through Friday.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and consistent attendance record are essential.
- Communication: Basic reading and comprehension skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
