Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: accurately scan and sort packages to ensure correct distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with shift supervisors and fellow associates to meet daily targets.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment is helpful.
