Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all products meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily inspections and cleaning of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- License: Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Attendance: A proven track record of punctuality and reliability is essential.
