Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of the 2026 platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
- Strategic Roadmap: Define technical strategies and milestones for the 2026 release cycle, collaborating with product and engineering teams.
- System Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to enhance system reliability and throughput.
- Talent Mentorship: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the engineering department.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to industry security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or principal engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with a strong understanding of system design principles.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and make high-impact architectural decisions.
- Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
