Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures integrating qubit processors, error correction modules, and classical control systems
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for NISQ-era devices and fault-tolerant quantum computers
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software implementations with physical qubit constraints
- Lead quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Document quantum system specifications and create performance benchmarking frameworks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our Quantum Academy training program
- Stay current with IEEE and ACM quantum computing standards and emerging research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerance architectures
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware integration
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, or Azure Quantum)
