Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to extend qubit coherence beyond 10ms
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate quantum processor architectures
- Identify commercial applications for quantum advantage in finance and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers and establish lab protocols for quantum-safe operations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Security clearance for handling classified quantum-resistant research
