Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Conduct experimental quantum computing research using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quantum solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Maintain and calibrate quantum hardware systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum error correction protocols
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to work with cryogenic systems and RF equipment
