The Role:
In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering, ensuring our motion graphics are not only visually stunning but also technically optimized for various platforms. You will mentor junior designers and collaborate closely with art directors and copywriters.
Responsibilities
- Create stunning 2D motion graphics and animations using industry-standard software (After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.).
- Develop storyboards and concept sketches to visualize motion sequences before production.
- Optimize animations for web, mobile, and social media formats to ensure fast load times without compromising quality.
- Mentor junior designers, providing feedback on timing, spacing, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all motion assets.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in 2D animation and motion design.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D motion design or animation.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Cinema 4D.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of 2D animation styles and techniques.
- Deep understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch) and composition.
- Experience with vector-based animation and clean-up workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate creative concepts.
