Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop comprehensive strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry think-tanks
- Maintain a trend intelligence database with predictive analytics capabilities
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and C-suite leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing successful long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published author or thought leader in futurism/innovation spaces
- Portfolio of 3+ major foresight projects with measurable business impact
