Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 foresight framework scanning technological, economic, and societal disruptors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on future market landscapes
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-forward solutions with 18-36 month horizons
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to board members and investors
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary FutureCast methodology
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills using tools like Tableau/Power BI
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation projects
- Published research or speaking engagements at WFS, Foresight Practitioners Network, or similar
