Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and peripheral devices.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets using our ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira).
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications, operating systems, and mobile devices.
- Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for employees on new software and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure network stability and security compliance.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate asset inventory records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud services (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Oakland area as needed.
