Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market launch for 2026 strategic initiatives
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget and prioritize emerging tech investments (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business objectives
- Build and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams of engineers and researchers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation roadmaps to board members and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation leadership with 5+ years at director level
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (min. 3 $100M+ revenue generators)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Strategic planning certification (e.g., INSEAD, Wharton) or equivalent
- Experience securing and managing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Global team leadership experience across 3+ continents
