Responsibilities
- Route Management: Safely operate delivery vehicles and manage assigned routes efficiently within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling packages with care.
- Inventory Control: Verify and record the delivery of goods and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Problem Solving: Resolve delivery issues and navigate traffic delays professionally to ensure on-time performance.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- License Requirement: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and clean driving record required.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or delivery is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
