Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records in the WMS system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- License: Valid forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
