Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow, timely order fulfillment, and optimal space utilization.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and waste.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor staff members to foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on safety and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for upper management and logistics partners, providing clear and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising a team and experience in performance management.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and OSHA 10 or 30 Hour General Industry training preferred.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
