Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and sort products onto pallets or shelves using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners to track stock levels and ensure accuracy in our warehouse management system.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors before processing.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow employees to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the Detroit facility.
