Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 strategic innovation framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive solutions in AI, quantum computing, and bio-convergence
- Establish KPIs and metrics for future-readiness, tracking adoption rates of emerging technologies
- Author quarterly 'Future Pulse' reports for executive board, highlighting paradigm shifts and competitive threats
- Manage a $5M innovation incubation fund for high-potential moonshots
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and build an external thought leadership network
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists using design thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, corporate foresight, or technology strategy leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (e.g., launched AI/quantum initiatives)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with visualization mastery (Tableau/Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Global network of futurists, VCs, and academic researchers in emerging tech
