Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology domains
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops on disruptive technology implications
- Author whitepapers on emerging paradigms in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term technology adoption
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Experience with scenario planning and systems thinking frameworks
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism publications
