Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainability
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for executive decision-making
- Build and manage a network of industry futurists and academic researchers
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing technologies and market positioning
- Create visualizations of potential future states for stakeholder communication
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological indicators impacting 2026 landscapes
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CSO, CFIP) preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight software
