Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to identify emerging market opportunities
- Produce strategic whitepapers and investor briefings on future industry disruption
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for breakthrough innovation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term tech adoption
- Present findings to the board and cross-functional teams through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization mastery
- Security clearance eligibility for classified innovation projects
